The health secretary has been congratulating the wife of late Dundee United star Frank Kopel after she secured free personal care for people under 65 with conditions like dementia.
Shona Robison’s meeting with Amanda Kopel comes just days after the First Minister committed to fully implementing Frank’s Law.
Mrs Kopel was forced to sell her husband’s football memorabilia to cover the bills as he battled dementia.
The Scottish Government say the change will benefit 9,000 and it will take effect by April 2019.
Ms Robison says she wanted to pay her own tribute to the Frank’s Law campaign.
