Me – I’m Alistair. I have a huge passion for music have a very wide musical taste. Everything from the great sounds of the 60′s to the disco revolution of the 70′s to the electro pop and new romantics of the 80′s and today’s melodic artists you never know what I will be listening to!.
I’ve always had an inquisitive mind, and always wanted to know how radio worked! And although my early career path took my in a completely different direction began finding out of radio, and did some voluntary work and loved it, and was doing all sorts behind the scenes, got into production work and script writing, but always loved being on the air, so here I am on Wave 102.
I have a very dry sense of humour, and enjoy observational humour, if someone falls, or has a mishap that’s the sort of thing that has be rolling about with laughter!
Away from radio I love entertaining, spending time with family and friends, I also love going to the theatre and was in London recently and enjoyed some of the big musicals on in the West End.
Weekday Afternoons kick off with 2 and I’ll keep you entertained all afternoon – we’ll take a look at the Celeb News at half 3 with Dr Proctor and Drivetime kicks in from 4, with the most comprehensive round up for Traffic and Travel in the area and most importantly the best songs to get you through the rush hour
